Free e-learning course for medical students returned from Ukraine – Maharashtra University

Big relief comes to undergraduate medical students returning from war-torn Ukraine as the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences on Thursday has announced to offer free e-learning medical courses for these students who are residing in different parts of the state. MUHS in collaboration with Elsevier, a global information analytics company has created online learning content for these students.

Amit Deshmukh, State Medical Education Minister has launched the initiative virtually in the presence of Lt Gen Dr. Madhuri Kanitkar, Vice-Chancellor MUHS, Dr. Ajit Pathak, Controller of Examination MUHS, Dr. Kalidas Chavan, MUHS Registrar, and Shankar Kaul, Managing Director, Elsevier.

Over 900 students have registered for the e-learning course so far. The Maharashtra University of Health Sciences has made provisions for the registration of the students who have not yet registered for the online courses with the university. The officials of MUHS said that expects the number of students registering for online courses would further increase.
