GeM Pavilion to Offer Seamless Onboarding for Startups at Startup Mahakumbh 2025

The Second Edition of Startup Mahakumbh, presented by Government e Marketplace (GeM), is set to take place from April 3rd to 5th, 2025, at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. This grand event will bring together over 3,000 Startups, 1,000+ incubators and accelerators, and industry leaders from 10 key sectors, making it the world’s largest platform for showcasing innovation.

In a major boost for Startups, GeM is setting up a dedicated Pavilion in Hall 5, offering end-to-end onboarding assistance to help them seamlessly integrate as Sellers on India’s largest e-marketplace for Government buyers. Newly registered Startups will also benefit from a free professional product photoshoot and catalog uploading assistance, enabling them to start selling on GeM without any hassle.

The GeM Pavilion will serve as an open platform for participating Startups to interact with select Government buyers and explore market-fit opportunities for their innovative products and services. Additionally, visitors can experience GeMAI, an advanced virtual chatbot with chat and voice command features in eight languages, designed to guide users through the GeM platform, answer queries, and track tickets.

GeM’s CEO, Shri Ajay Bhadoo, emphasized the significance of this initiative, stating that the Pavilion will provide an exclusive opportunity for DPIIT-registered Startups to onboard smoothly and scale their businesses in the public procurement space.

As part of GeM’s extensive outreach program, the platform will conduct guided onboarding sessions to facilitate Startup registrations during the three-day event. Additionally, a series of masterclasses and leadership-led sessions will explore opportunities for Startups in public procurement, equipping them with sector-specific insights to grow their ventures.

Senior officials from GeM will also be present to engage directly with the Startup community, offering guidance and fostering collaboration. The event is expected to be a game-changer, reinforcing India’s commitment to nurturing innovation and entrepreneurship.

With its focus on enabling ease of business, GeM Pavilion at Startup Mahakumbh 2025 is set to be a landmark initiative in driving Startup participation in government procurement and boosting India’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.
