Government Extends IAS Ravindra Pratap Singh’s Tenure

The central government has granted approval for the extension of the two-year central deputation term for IAS officer Ravindra Pratap Singh, who currently holds the position of Joint Secretary in the Pharmaceuticals Department.

Singh, belonging to the 2007 batch of the Odisha cadre, has been authorized to continue his tenure in this capacity for an additional two years.

The decision was ratified by the Cabinet’s Appointments Committee following a proposal submitted by the Department of Pharmaceuticals. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training on Tuesday, this extension will be effective beyond February 14, 2024, or until further directives are issued.
