Government of Karnataka Announces Rs. 99 Crore Sensor-Tech Innovation Hub to Drive Technological Advancements

The Government of Karnataka, in collaboration with the Government of India and key industry partners, is establishing a dedicated Sensor-Tech Innovation Hub with an investment of Rs. 99 crore.

This specialized facility aims to accelerate advancements in sensor technology by fostering research and development, building specialized skills, and cultivating a thriving innovation ecosystem. The initiative underscores the state’s commitment to driving next-generation technological breakthroughs and enhancing industrial applications across sectors.

The Sensor-Tech Innovation Hub will serve as a catalyst for pioneering research, helping businesses integrate advanced sensor technologies into various applications, including healthcare, manufacturing, automotive, and smart infrastructure. It will also focus on skill development programs, ensuring Karnataka remains a talent hub for high-tech industries.
