Green Mobility Corridor in Hubballi Dharwad Smart City inaugurated by Minister of Coal and Mines

With an aim to transform the wasteland into a lively open space with bicycle tracks, Hubballi Dharwad Smart City in Karnataka had developed Phase 1 of the green Mobility Corridor, through the City Investments to Innovate, Integrate and Sustain (CITIIS) program. The initiative was taken to encourage eco-friendly modes of transport by building dedicated cycle tracks.

Joshi Pralhad, Union Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, Coal and Mines of India inaugurated the corridor on Saturday evening.

Hubballi-Dharwad is among the top 75 cities shortlisted for phase 1 of the India Smart Cities Awards Contest (ISAC) 2022. The city is ranked 28th in the Smart Cities Awards Contest (ISAC) 2022.
