Himanshu Kaushik Joins Government of India as Additional Private Secretary to Union Minister B.L. Verma

Himanshu Kaushik, a 2018 batch IAS officer of the Andhra Pradesh cadre, has been appointed as the Additional Private Secretary to B.L. Verma, Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment.

Prior to this appointment, Kaushik served as the Additional Resident Commissioner at Andhra Pradesh Bhawan in New Delhi, where he played a key role in facilitating the state’s representation at the national level.

As the Additional Private Secretary, Kaushik will now support Minister Verma in executing his responsibilities in the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, which focuses on the welfare of marginalized sections of society.
