IAS Dr. Tejaswi S Naik has been appointed as a Private Secretary to the Union Agriculture Minister, Arjun Munda. Dr. Naik, a seasoned 2009-batch IAS officer from the Madhya Pradesh cadre, is set to take on this significant role in the minister’s office.
Currently serving on central deputation since December 2022, Dr. Naik will assume the position at the level of Director. His tenure in this capacity is slated to commence from the date of assuming charge and extend until December 14, 2027.
Prior to this appointment, Dr. Naik held the position of Managing Director at MP Jal Nigam in Madhya Pradesh, showcasing his leadership skills and administrative acumen. Originally from Karnataka, he has a distinguished track record in Madhya Pradesh, where he has served in key positions such as Commissioner of Bhopal Municipal Corporation and District Magistrate of Barwani.
