M.K.S. Sundaram, a 1997-batch IAS officer, has been appointed as Principal Secretary of Agriculture, Agriculture Education and Research, Agriculture Marketing, Agricultural Foreign Trade and Export Promotion. The appointment gives him responsibility across multiple areas connected with the agriculture sector.
In his new role, Sundaram will oversee the administration of these departments and functions, including agriculture education and research, marketing and agricultural foreign trade. He will contribute to the implementation of departmental programmes and priorities across these areas.
