Anil Kumar, a 1998-batch IAS officer, has been appointed as Principal Secretary of Food and Civil Supplies. He has also been given charge as Commissioner, Food and Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, adding responsibilities across the department’s administrative and operational functions.
In his new role, Kumar will oversee matters related to food and civil supplies and consumer affairs. His additional charge as Commissioner will further support the administration and implementation of programmes and functions under the department.
