The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the assignment of additional charge of Member Finance, Atomic Energy Commission, Department of Atomic Energy, to Seema Jain, IAS (Punjab cadre, 1991 batch).
Jain, who is presently serving as Member Finance of the Space Commission, will now oversee financial responsibilities across two of India’s most critical scientific institutions. Her appointment follows the departure of Pankaj Kumar Mishra, IRS (IT: 1989), who recently stepped down from the position. Seema Jain will hold the additional charge until a regular appointment is made or until further orders are issued.
