The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Mohit Soni as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to Union Minister for Housing & Urban Affairs and Power, Manohar Lal.
According to an official order issued by the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), Soni, a private individual, has been appointed on a contract basis at the Deputy Secretary level. His tenure will extend for four years from the date of assuming charge, or remain co-terminus with the Minister’s term, or until further orders — whichever is earlier.
