India will commercially introduce 5G services in September 2022, according to Information Technology Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw.

According to Union Telecom and Information Technology Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, the country’s largest spectrum auction, which would pave the way for high-speed 5G service, “is anticipated to conclude by the end of July, with the rollout projected by September this year.”

The union cabinet approved the 5G spectrum auction on Wednesday, which is set to begin on July 26. Today is the first day of the 5G spectrum auction. The auction process should be completed by the end of July, which was our original target date, “ said Vaishnaw. The 5G services are expected to be rolled out by August-September. “Auction is on time. July was the timeframe for auction. August-September was the timeframe to begin rollout, Vaishnaw added.

Telecommunications firms According to Vaishnaw, are already working in parallel to lay up the full infrastructure.
