Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) has published the rankings results featuring 1,300 universities from around the world. The QS World University Rankings by Subject are published annually, which is very helpful for the students to identify the leading universities in a particular subject.
India remains at the forefront of global Environment Science research. Data from QS’s research partners at Elsevier indicates that in 2021 India ranked 5th in terms of its research footprint in this field.
Ministry of Education said in a series of tweets, “Indeed a proud moment for the nation. 4 institutes of Eminence achieved top 50 ranks, 5 programs at public loE made into the top 100, 35 Indian programs achieved top-100 positions at the 12th QS World University Ranking.”
The ministry also said, “The 2022 instalment of the QS World University Rankings by Subject provides independent data on the performance of 274 programs at 61 Indian higher education institutions, across 37 of the 51 academic disciplines ranked in this edition.”
