Jatin Kishore, an accomplished civil servant who secured an outstanding All India Rank of 2 in the 2020 UPSC Civil Service Examination, has taken charge as the Director of the Department of Information & Public Relations in Jammu & Kashmir. This appointment comes as part of a major administrative reshuffle, where Kishore has been transferred to J&K from New Delhi. His predecessor, Minga Sherpa, has been reassigned as Deputy Commissioner Baramulla.
Jatin Kishore is an alumnus of St. Stephen’s College at Delhi University, where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Economics. He further pursued higher studies and obtained a Master’s degree in Economics from the prestigious Delhi School of Economics.
