Mizoram Hosts 17th Digital Transformation Conclave: Weaving The Digital Future For Viksit Bharat 2047

 The 17th edition of the Digital Transformation Conclave, hosted by the Department of Information & Communication Technology, Government of Mizoram, and organized by GovConnect, an initiative by ilouge Media successfully concluded today in Aizawl. Themed “Weaving the Digital Future for Viksit Bharat 2047,” the conclave brought together eminent government leaders, policymakers, technology innovators and delegates to envision a digitally empowered India.

The event opened with a Welcome Address by Amit Sharma, IAS, Secretary, ICT and Cooperation Department, Government of Mizoram, highlighting Mizoram’s growing role in India’s digital revolution.

Delivering the Keynote Address, Khilli Ram Meena, IAS, Chief Secretary, Government of Mizoram, emphasized the critical importance of inclusive digital strategies in ensuring last-mile service delivery across diverse terrains like the Northeast.

The Guest of Honor Address was presented by Dr. Vanlalthlana, Hon’ble Minister for ICT Department and Higher & Technical Education, School Education, and Information & Public Relations Department, Government of Mizoram, who underlined the government’s commitment to technological progress and human capital development.

The event culminated in an inspiring Chief Guest Address by Pu Lalduhoma, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Mizoram, who reiterated the state’s vision of aligning with the national goal of Viksit Bharat 2047, calling for collaborative action across the public and private sectors.

The conclave featured  insightful panel discussions and key presentations on AI for Bharat, Building India’s Digital Infrastructure, Digital Governance for a New India and Northeast India – The Next Frontier for Digital Transformation

Each session provided actionable insights on leveraging emerging technologies like AI, ML, and cloud computing to enhance governance, public service delivery, and economic resilience, particularly in the Northeast.

The event was attended by more than 300 eminent guests, partners, industry leaders and Government dignitaries.

The 17th Digital Transformation Conclave reaffirmed the importance of partnerships between governments and technology providers in shaping a smart, secure, and inclusive digital future. With a strong emphasis on the unique opportunities and challenges of the Northeast region, the conclave stood as a milestone toward achieving the vision of a Viksit Bharat by 2047.
