MSME Minister Narayan Rane to chair meeting with industry associations on key MSME issues

The MSME sector has been one of the worst affected due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Hence, the industry has drawn a lot of attention from policymakers.

Narayan Rane, MSME Minister has scheduled a meeting with industry association and experts from the MSME sector on April 27, 2022, at Vigyan Bhawan in the national capital. During the meeting, the key discussion points will focus on upcoming MSME policy and issues related to delayed payment, access to the global market, credit, marketing, skill development, marketing technology, and various other issues that are hurting the sector.

Major industry bodies in the MSME sector will be part of the meeting including FICCI, CII, PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Assocham, FISME, FIEO, IEEMA, and multiple state-level chambers and industry associations to share their valuable suggestions.

Narayan Rane is serving as Minister of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises since July 8, 2021. During his tenure, he has launched varied initiatives for MSMEs to accelerate the growth of the MSME sector.
