MyGov Jammu & Kashmir launched to promote participatory governance

Under the leadership of Shri Manoj Sinha, Lieutenant Governor, MyGov Jammu & Kashmir has been launched today to promote participatory governance. Jammu & Kashmir has become the first Union Territory to launch MyGov.

MyGov J&K will serve as Government of India’s citizen engagement platform.  Through this platform, the citizens of Jammu & Kashmir will be able to connect with the government and achieve the goal of ‘Good Governance.’  They will collaborate with multiple government departments/ministries to formulate policies. Moreover, through this platform government bodies will seek opinion of citizens on issues and topics related to public interest and welfare.

MyGov has launched State instances in 15 States, including Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Tripura, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Nagaland, Uttarakhand, Goa, Tamil Nadu, and Uttar Pradesh. MyGov Jammu & Kashmir is the 16th state MyGov. MyGov Jammu & Kashmir is the 16th state MyGov.
