The President of India has approved the proposal to summon both Houses of Parliament for the Budget Session 2024. The session is scheduled to commence on July 22, 2024, and will continue until August 12, 2024, subject to exigencies of Parliamentary business.
The Union Budget for the financial year 2024-25 will be presented in the Lok Sabha on July 23, 2024. This crucial announcement was made by the Union Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, Kiran Rijiju, through a post on the social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter).
