Rashmita Jha Assigned Additional Charge as CVO of REC Limited

Rashmita Jha, a senior officer of the Indian Revenue Service (IRS, IT: 1997) and the Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of National Thermal Power Corporation Ltd. (NTPC), Delhi, has been entrusted with the additional charge of the post of CVO at Rural Electrification Corporation Ltd. (REC), Delhi.

This appointment, effective immediately, is for a period of six months or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

REC Limited, a Maharatna company under the Ministry of Power, is a leading financial institution in the power sector, focusing on financing and promoting rural electrification projects across India. Ms. Jha’s dual role signifies a strategic move to optimize vigilance across key sectors of the nation’s power infrastructure.
