Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) is gearing up to unveil ‘BharatGPT-Hanooman’ in March 2024, marking a significant step forward in the country’s AI capabilities.
The creation of ‘BharatGPT-Hanooman’ was a result of extensive collaboration between the Indian Institute of Technology campuses, notably IIT Bombay, with crucial support from Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited and the Indian Government. Multilingual Move: Initially, the model will be deployed in 11 diverse Indian languages, catering to the varied linguistic landscape of the nation. With plans to expand to 22 additional Indian languages, ‘BharatGPT-Hanooman’ is set to become an inclusive and accessible AI platform.

Partnerships: SML, a key player in this venture, is engaging with BFSI enterprises, healthcare organizations, and mobile app providers. The aim is to offer model-as-a-service solutions and create specialized models by fine-tuning the Hanooman series, catering to diverse industry needs.
