Sanjay Khanna Takes Additional Charge as Chairman and Managing Director of BPCL

Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), a Fortune Global 500 company and one of India’s leading oil and gas majors, announced today that Shri Sanjay Khanna has assumed additional charge as the Chairman and Managing Director of the corporation.

Khanna, who is currently serving as the Director (Refineries) at BPCL, brings over 30 years of extensive experience in refinery operations and technical services. His leadership is expected to further strengthen BPCL’s strategic growth amid the evolving energy landscape.

An alumnus of the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli, Khanna holds a degree in Chemical Engineering and a postgraduate qualification in Finance Management from Mumbai University. His combined technical and financial acumen has been instrumental in driving performance and innovation across BPCL’s refining operations.

Under his guidance, BPCL aims to continue its focus on energy security, operational excellence, and a smooth transition towards sustainable and greener energy solutions.
