The signing of a MoU by L&TMRHL and TASK to promote employment and skill synergies

L&T Metro Rail (Hyderabad) Limited (L&TMRHL) and Telangana Academy for Skill and Knowledge (TASK) signed an MoU on July 20 to promote the Government of Telangana’s initiatives for enhancing skilling synergy among institutions of Government, Industry, and Academia. This agreement will help to develop and improve job opportunities for technically qualified and eligible candidates from Telangana.

Representing TASK and L&TMRHL, Shrikant Sinha, CEO, TASK, and KVB Reddy, MD & CEO, L&TMRHL, exchanged the MoU in the presence of the Chief Guest, KT Rama Rao, the Hon’ble Minister for IT, E&C, Industries, MA&UD, GoT, Dr. Jayesh Ranjan, Principal Secretary, IT, E&C, I&C, GoT; Krishnamachari Srikkanth, Former Captain of the Indian Cricket Team; NVS Reddy, MD, Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited (HMRL), and other officials from the government, Hyderabad Metro Rail and Keolis Hyderabad, during the ‘TASK Corporate MoU Exchange & College Management Meet’ held today at T Hub, Hyderabad.

In accordance with the terms of the MoU, TASK will support L&TMRHL and its O&M partner Keolis Hyderabad Mass Rapid Transit System Private Limited in developing their talent pools and their skill sets.

“We are extremely happy to cooperate with L&TMRHL to implement this ‘First Day First Hour’ skilling approach which will help develop the technical ability of the kids to become part of the prestigious Metro project,” stated Shrikant Sinha, CEO of TASK. We would like to express our gratitude to the managements of L&TMRHL, HMRL, and Keolis for accepting our proposal on behalf of Telangana’s youth.

The Telangana government has always been devoted to giving possibilities for employment while upskilling the state’s young, according to NVS Reddy, MD, HMRL, who spoke at the event. The agreement between L&TMRHL and TASK is a significant step in HMR’s development as a pioneer in the field of encouraging young capability enhancement and creating a roadmap for their career paths that would increase employment in Telangana State.
