The Government of Tripura has undertaken a minor bureaucratic reshuffle, reassigning five IAS officers to new roles, as per an official notification.
- IAS Raval Hamendra Kumar (2011 batch) has been appointed as the Special Secretary of the Education Department. Prior to this, he served as the Special Secretary for Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs, along with Education (School and Higher).
- IAS Debapriya Bardhan (2012 batch), who was serving as the District Magistrate (DM) and Collector of North Tripura District, Dharmanagar, has now been designated as the Special Secretary of the Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs Department.
- IAS Shailesh Yadav (2013 batch), currently the Municipal Commissioner of Agartala Municipal Corporation, will retain his existing responsibilities as Mission Director & CEO of Agartala Smart City Ltd. Additionally, he will take on new roles as Director of Urban Development, Commissioner of TUDA, Mission Director of Swachh Bharat Mission (Grameen), CEO of Tripura Jal Board, and Additional Secretary in the Rural Development Department (MGNREGA & Panchayats).
- IAS Chandni Chandran (2017 batch), who has been serving as DM & Collector of Khowai District, has now been transferred to the post of DM & Collector, North Tripura District, Dharmanagar.
- IAS Rajat Pant (2021 batch), previously holding the position of Director of Urban Development, has been appointed as the DM & Collector of Khowai District.
