UGC invites online proposals for the development of (Massive Open Online Courses) MOOCs at the UG/PG level for the SWAYAM platform, the government’s e-learning platform.

In a letter issued to the higher education institutions, it has been stated that the Government of India has introduced India’s Arctic Policy (IAP) titled “India and the Arctic building partnership for Sustainable Development” on March 17, 2022. The policy will play a vital role in preparing the country for a future where humankind’s biggest challenges can be addressed through collective will and effort.
UGC has requested all the Vice-Chancellors of Universities, Directors of IITs, Principles of the colleges to submit proposal for development of MOOCs at UG/PG level for the SWAYAM platform on six key pillars of IAP including Science and Research, Climate and Environmental Protection, Economic and Human Development, Transportation and Connectivity, Governance and International Cooperation, and National Capacity Building.
The proposal for the development of courses can only be submitted online on the official website of SWAYAM before May 15, 2022.
