The Uttar Pradesh government, led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, has announced a fresh round of bureaucratic reshuffle, assigning new responsibilities to 17 officers, including two IAS officers.
According to an order issued by M. Devraj, Principal Secretary, Appointment Department, IAS Rishiraj and IAS Dayanand Prasad have been given additional and new charges, respectively.
IAS Rishiraj, who currently serves as Vice President of the Prayagraj Development Authority, has been given the additional charge of Mela Adhikari (Fair Officer) for the upcoming Magh Mela, Prayagraj.
IAS Dayanand Prasad, recently promoted from PCS to IAS, has been appointed Additional Mela Officer, Magh Mela, Prayagraj. He previously served as Additional Director (Administration) at the Agriculture Directorate, Uttar Pradesh, and Additional Mela Officer, Kumbh Mela, Prayagraj.
Additionally, Bhairpal, Additional District Magistrate (Judicial), Gautam Buddha Nagar, has been attached to the Revenue Council, Lucknow.
In a related move, the Secretariat Administration Department has also reshuffled departments for 15 Joint Secretaries, reassigning them across key administrative divisions:
