Vikram Saxena Appointed Director (Technology & Field Services) at ONGC

The Board of Directors of Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) has appointed Vikram Saxena as the Director (Technology & Field Services). His appointment, approved by the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, will remain effective until his superannuation on July 31, 2027, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

With over 35 years of extensive experience in Exploration & Production (E&P) operations, Saxena has contributed significantly to both onshore and offshore domains. Throughout his tenure at ONGC, he has held key leadership positions, demonstrating expertise in operations, regulatory frameworks, health, safety & environment (HSE), and policy matters.

An alumnus of Dibrugarh University, Saxena holds a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA in Human Resources from IGNOU, Delhi. Further strengthening his leadership and technical acumen, he has completed senior management programs at reputed global institutions, including MDI Gurgaon, Energy Delta Institute (Netherlands), University of Antwerp (Belgium), IFP Training School (Paris), and Frankfurt School of Finance & Management (Germany).

Saxena is also a certified Energy Auditor and Energy Manager accredited by the Bureau of Energy Efficiency, underscoring his commitment to sustainable energy management and efficiency.
