Webinars organized to expand digital readiness amongst government officials: Digital India

‘Digital India Dialogues Building Capacities’ session, a joint Initiative by the National e-Governance Division (NeGD), Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India, Intel, and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) will be conducted on April 22. It is an engaging session on ‘Data driven Action & Assessment of Action’ to expand digital readiness amongst government leaders and policy practitioners.

A series of webinars will be conducted for Government Leaders and relevant stakeholders within government under the aegis of ‘Digital India Dialogues Building Capacities’. It will cover numerous themes related to emerging technologies (AI, Blockchain, IoT, etc.) with a focus on sector-specific areas, international and domestic use cases, and best practice examples.

The session will focus on the potential usage of AI and other emerging technologies. It will offer an excellent opportunity to explore the vital role played by innovations in enabling effective and future policy-making, driving better public engagement, and ensuring successful government post lockdown.

The key objectives of the sessions are to enable Government leaders to drive informed policymaking, foster growth of the digital economy, and promote national competitiveness through effective exploration of emerging technologies.
