Yoga Sangam Hits 25,000+ Registrations, Reflecting Growing Enthusiasm for IDY 2025

With the International Day of Yoga (IDY) 2025 just around the corner, Yoga Sangam, the flagship celebration event, has already seen an extraordinary response from over 25,000 organisations across India and beyond—setting the stage for what promises to be the largest and most inclusive celebration of yoga to date.

From top-tier educational institutions to renowned NGOs, and from leading corporates to influential government departments, support is pouring in from every corner. Organisations such as Ekal Foundation, International Yoga Association (IYA), and the International Naturopathy Organisation (INO) are among those that have pledged their wholehearted participation.

Notable academic institutions have embraced the spirit of Yoga Sangam with gusto. IIT Kanpur, IIM Mumbai, NIT Kurukshetra, IIM Bangalore, BIT Mesra, and Vellore Institute of Technology have all registered, showcasing the event’s resonance across India’s most respected campuses.

Even government departments are leading by example. The Office of the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests, Goa Van Bhawan, Altinho, has joined hands with Yoga Sangam—highlighting the alignment of yoga with environmental mindfulness and holistic well-being.

On the state level, Rajasthan, Telangana, Jharkhand, Himachal Pradesh, and Punjab are emerging as frontrunners in organisational registrations, reflecting deep-rooted support for yoga across diverse regions and communities.

As Yoga Sangam continues to grow in scale and spirit, organisers are calling on all remaining institutions—educational, governmental, corporate, and nonprofit—to join the movement and help make this the most impactful International Day of Yoga yet.
