Mamata Banerjee-led West Bengal government has transferred 17 IPS officers in a major bureaucracy reshuffle.
As per the order issued on Tuesday, Rajesh Kumar Yadav has been appointed as the Additional Commissioner of Police III, Kolkata. Debasmita Das has been posted as DC, Head Quarters (HQ). Surya Pratap Yadav has been transferred to as DC, DD (Special), Kolkata Police. Amitabha Maiti has been transferred to the SS, IB West Bengal. Pradeep Kumar Yadav has taken charge of SP, Malda.
VSR Ananthnag has been transferred to the SS, EB, WB. Vaibhav Tiwari has been appointed as the Superintendent of Police Bankura. Pushpa has been posted as SP, Baruipur PD. Avijit Banerjee has been appointed as the SP, Ranaghat PD. Sayak Das has been transferred to SS, CID, WB. Dhritiman Sarkar has been appointed as SP, Diamond Harbour PD.
Praween Prakash has been transferred to DC, Cyber Crime, Kolkata. Nidhi Rani has been transferred to as DC, Headquarter, Chandannagore PC. Soumyadip Bhattacharya has been appointed as additional SP ( HQ), Hooghly Rural. Aishwariya Sagar has been posted as OSD Purba Midnapore SP’s office. Shraddha N. Pandey OSD, Purba Midnapore SP Office has been transferred to as additional SP Haldia, Purba Midnapore. Partha Ghosh has been transferred to an additional SP (HQ), Darjeeling.
