Pune-headquartered non-banking financial services company, Baja Finance on Tuesday reported Rs 2,420 crore consolidated net profit in the March quarter, which is the highest ever consolidated net profit. The profit is believed to be 80 percent higher than the profit posted in the year-ago period at Rs 1,347.

The finance also reported its highest ever consolidated profit after tax at Rs 7,028 crore in the fiscal ended in March 2022, a higher 59 percent. The net profit in the year 2020-21 reported was Rs 4,420 crore.
As per the release, “Loan losses and provision for Q4FY22 was Rs 702 crore as against Rs 1,231 crore. The company holds management and macro-economic overlay of Rs 1,060 crore as of March 31, 2022.”
The finance firm said that the board of directors has recommended a dividend of Rs 20 per equity share for FY22.
