The Madhya Pradesh government has reassigned key positions to multiple IAS officers, while also granting promotions to senior officials.
According to an official notification, the government has approved proforma promotion for IAS Vivek Agrawal (1994 batch) to the Chief Secretary grade. Similarly, IAS Rashmi Arun Shami (1994 batch) has also been elevated to the Chief Secretary grade within the state administration.
In addition to these promotions, the government has assigned additional responsibilities to three senior IAS officers:
IAS Ashok Barnawal (1991 batch), currently serving as Additional Chief Secretary of the Forest Department, will now also take charge as the Agriculture Production Commissioner.
IAS Sanjay Dubey (1993 batch), holding the position of ACS in the General Administration Department, has been given additional responsibility as Chairman of the Employees Selection Board.
IAS E Ramesh Kumar (1999 batch), presently serving as Principal Secretary in the Scheduled Caste Welfare Department, has been assigned additional duties as PS, Denotified, Nomadic, and Semi-Nomadic Tribes Department.
