Mumbai-based Central Bank of India on Monday said the government has appointed Hardik Mukesh Sheth to its board with an immediate effect.

Sheth has been previously serving as director of the Department of Financial Services. According to a regulatory filing, Sheth has been nominated as the government nominee in place of Bhushan Kumar with immediate effect and until further orders. It has been also notified in the regulatory filing Hardik Mukesh Sheth does not have any relationship with any of the existing directors of the Central Bank of India.
A notification regarding the appointment of Sheth as director of Central Bank of India’s board was issued by the government.
