The Karnataka government has cleared the way for the launch of the news skill connect portal on July 15th, pushing digital adaptation in governance further. According to the state’s minister of higher education, information technology, and skill development, CN Ashwath Naryan, the new portal is intended to offer information and help the state’s aspirant youth find their ideal career.

The statement is made at the beginning of a job fair at Bhandarkars College in the Udupi district’s Kundapur town. The state government minister claimed that outstanding young people in a state were unable to pursue their ideal careers due to a lack of knowledge about available positions.
The Minister stated that the skill connect site will assist the youth by giving them access to information on virtual platforms about the skills required to land the occupations they want, the positions that are available, and the organisations that provided them.
