Union Minister for Ayush and Ports, Shipping, & Waterways, Sarbananda Sonowal, unveiled additional Yoga Therapy Rooms at the Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga (MDNIY) in New Delhi. The occasion underscored the institute’s commitment to promoting and spreading the practice of Yoga and holistic wellness.
During his address, Sonowal emphasized the crucial incorporation of yoga therapy into daily routines as a way to boost self-awareness, self-realization, and overall holistic well-being. He stressed that India’s ancient wisdom, cultivated over centuries, and should be disseminated worldwide, with India leading the charge in tackling global health issues.
‘The work being done by the Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga is really commendable. The sheer number of people visiting this institution is a testament to its credibility, training, therapy, research, and excellence. I envision a future where ‘Heal in India’ becomes the norm, and India extends its resources and expertise to benefit people worldwide,’ he said.
The launch of additional Yoga therapy rooms at the Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga marks a stride in ensuring that comprehensive healthcare services are easily available to those seeking the advantages of Yoga therapy.
