The government of Madhya Pradesh has recently announced new appointments and assignments for five distinguished IAS officers, effective immediately.
IAS Lokesh Kumar Jatav (2004 batch) has been designated as the Secretary of the Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Department. He previously served as the Commissioner of Commercial Tax in Indore, where he also held an additional charge as the Managing Director of the MP Finance Corporation.
IAS Swatantra Kumar Singh (2007 batch) has been appointed as the Commissioner of Commercial Tax in Indore, with an additional responsibility as the Managing Director of the MP Finance Corporation. He was previously serving as the Secretary of the Backward Classes & Minorities Welfare Department.
IAS Anurag Chaudhary (2010 batch) has taken on the role of Managing Director of the MP Mineral Corporation in Bhopal. Additionally, he will serve as the ex-officio Additional Secretary of the Mineral Resources Department, with an additional charge as the Director of Administration and Mining at the Directorate of Geology and Mining in Bhopal. His previous roles include Additional Secretary of the Animal Husbandry & Dairy Development Department and the Department of Fishermen Welfare & Fisheries Development.
IAS Sanjay Kumar (2011 batch) will now serve as the Additional Secretary of the MP Secretariat. His previously served as the Collector of Sheopur, bringing valuable experience to his new role.
IAS Rajeev Ranjan Meena (2012 batch) will assume the role of the Deputy Secretary of the MP Secretariat. He previously held the position of Managing Director of the MP Mineral Corporation in Bhopal and ex-officio Additional Secretary of the Mineral Resources Department, with an additional charge as the Director of Administration and Mining at the Directorate of Geology and Mining in Bhopal.
Additionally, Anuj Kumar Rohatgi has been entrusted with an additional charge as the Collector of Sheopur.
