Anand Raisinghani Appointed as CEO of Setu

Setu, API infrastructure firm owned by Pine Labs, has announced Anand Raisinghani as its new Chief Executive Officer. Raisinghani had held prominent positions at Equifax, IBM, Wipro, and most recently, serving as the VP and head of professional services at SAP India.

Setu, founded in 2018 by Sahil Kini and Nikhil Kumar, has positioned itself as a pioneer in API infrastructure services, particularly in bill payments, savings, credit, and payments. With the growing importance of open banking and consent-based data sharing, Setu is gearing up to capitalize on this trend by expanding its focus on account aggregation, API platforms, embedded finance, and data gateway services.

Setu’s acquisition by Pine Labs in 2022 for approximately $70 million has provided the company with additional resources and strategic backing to pursue its ambitious goals. Headquartered in Bengaluru, Setu remains committed to pioneering transformative solutions in API infrastructure and shaping the future of finance.
