The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) will see a new interim leader as Vijay Kumar Singh, a 1995-batch ICAS officer, has been assigned the additional charge of Vice Chairman. Singh, currently serving as Member (Finance) of DDA since June 2020, will assume this role for a period of six months or until a permanent appointment is made.
Singh, an alumnus of Sainik School Tilaiya, Kirorimal College at Delhi University, and Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), brings a wealth of experience to this top administrative position in DDA. His expertise in financial management within the DDA is expected to ensure continuity in the Authority’s ongoing development and financial operations during this transitional period.
The position of Vice Chairman became vacant following the recent appointment of Subhasish Panda, a 1997-batch IAS officer from the Himachal Pradesh cadre, as Additional Secretary in the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO).
