The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved a three-month extension for Shri A. Robert J. Ravi to continue holding the additional charge of Chairman and Managing Director of Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL).
The extension is effective from July 15, 2025, to October 14, 2025, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Shri Ravi is currently serving as the CMD of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL). His continued leadership at MTNL is expected to ensure administrative continuity and support ongoing coordination between the two state-owned telecom enterprises.
