The India Council of Agriculture Research (ICAR) will be revamping the curriculum of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the field of agriculture. ICAR intends to add natural farming as a key component in these agriculture courses.

S P Kimothi, ICAR’s assistant director-general said that natural farming has the potential to improve the efficiency of production and reduce the cost. Thus, it is important that young professionals in the agriculture field are well-equipped with the knowledge. He further added that natural farming will be introduced as a part of all Undergraduate and postgraduate agricultural courses from next academic session onwards.
