Captain S. Divakar Assumes Additional Charge as MD & CEO of Dredging Corporation of India Ltd

The Board of Directors of Dredging Corporation of India Ltd. has appointed Captain S. Divakar, CGM, as Managing Director & CEO (Additional Charge), Additional Director, and Key Managerial Personnel (KMP) of the company, effective 16 October 2025, until a regular incumbent assumes the role, for six months, or until further orders.

This appointment follows the completion of Shri Durgesh Kumar Dubey, IRTS’s tenure as MD & CEO (Additional Charge) on 15 October 2025.

Captain S. Divakar started his career with DCI in 1987 as a cadet and served onboard dredgers for 22 years, progressing from cadet to captain and ultimately becoming Master of Dredger. He subsequently gained 12 years of senior management experience in inshore operations, combining operational and techno-commercial expertise. With 34 years of rich experience across onboard and onshore roles, Capt. Divakar brings unique insights into both operational efficiency and business management.
