CASHe enters into the wealth management space by acquiring the WeathTech platform Sqrrl. With this acquisition, CASHe has broadened its products and services to meet the investments and wealth management needs of millennials.
The announcement of the acquisition comes at a time when CASHe is raising funds worth Rs 140 crore in equity funding from TSLC Pte Ltd, its holding company based in Singapore.
Commenting on this acquisition, CASHe Founder Chairman V. Raman Kumar said, “With CASHe’s products offering reaching over 20 million users in the country and growing rapidly, this acquisition will a vital role in expanding our reach to the next billion young Indians by offering them an all-new byte-sized investing ecosystem covering a larger geographical footprint.”
A LendTech, InsureTech, and InvestTech platform will be created for CASHe. The wealth management business will be managed by the co-founders of Sqrrl.
