CMD Atul Bhatt Calls for United Effort in Revival of Rastriya Ispat Nigam Ltd

In a pivotal meeting held on August 28, 2024, at Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL) office, the corporate entity of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, Chairman and Managing Director Atul Bhatt issued a clarion call for a united effort to revive the steel giant. Addressing representatives of various trade unions, Bhatt outlined the current status of RINL and emphasized the urgent need for collaborative efforts from all employees, unions, and executives to secure the company’s future.

The meeting, attended by key members of RINL’s leadership team, saw Bhatt stressing the importance of enhancing production and implementing stringent cost-control measures as part of a comprehensive strategy to improve the financial health of the company.

Also present at the meeting were A. K. Bagchi, Director (Projects) and additional charge Director (Operations), S. C. Pandey, Director (Personnel), C. H. S. R. V. G. K. Ganesh, Director (Finance), G. V. N. Prasad, Director (Commercial), along with Chief General Managers and other senior officials of RINL.

The session underscored the critical need for a collective push to ensure the company’s revival, with the RINL management committing to support and guide this endeavor. The leadership expressed confidence that, with concerted efforts, RINL could regain its financial stability and continue to be a significant player in the industry.
