The Public Enterprise Selection Board (PESB) has announced the selection of Brijesh Dixit for the position of Managing Director of Rajasthan Electronics and Instruments Limited (REIL), a Schedule ‘C’ Central Public Sector Undertaking (CPSU). Dixit, who is currently serving as the Executive Director (Depot & Machineries) in the Indian Railway Service of Mechanical Engineers, emerged as the top candidate among twelve individuals interviewed for the role.
Dixit’s appointment is subject to the requisite clearances and approval from the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC). He is set to succeed the current Managing Director, Rakesh Chopra, who will be retiring on July 31, 2024.
