IAS officer Maninder Kaur Dwivedi has been entrusted with an additional responsibility as the Commissioner of the National Educational Society for Tribal Students (NESTS). Currently serving as the Additional Secretary in the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, this new role adds to her diverse portfolio of duties.
The Ministry of Tribal Affairs put forth the proposal for Dwivedi’s additional charge, recognizing her capabilities and experience. A recent order from the Department of Personnel and Training formalized this decision, outlining that she will assume this post for a period of three months. This tenure is effective from the date she assumes the charge until further orders, or until a regular incumbent is appointed for the position.
A member of the 1995 batch from the Chhattisgarh cadre, Dwivedi’s career has been marked by a commitment to public service and a dedication to various sectors.
