Indian Army Announces Commencement of Registration for Agniveer Recruitment Rally 2024

Today, on February 8, the Indian Army has started the registration process for the upcoming recruitment rally of Agniveers. Prospective candidates can access the application forms on the official website joinindianarmy.nic.in.

Colonel DP Singh disclosed this crucial information during a press conference held last month in Ludhiana. The recruitment rally will follow a structured selection process, with a written test scheduled for April. Subsequently, selected candidates will undergo rigorous physical tests.

Applicants must fulfill specific criteria to be eligible for consideration. They should fall within the age bracket of 17 to 21 years. Moreover, candidates applying for Agniveer General Duty vacancies are required to have passed Class 10, while those applying for Tradesmen positions must have at least passed Class 8.

For the application process, candidates need to provide essential documents and information, including:

  1. Class 10 pass certificate, with details accurately filled as per the matric certificate (name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth).
  2. A valid personal email address.
  3. An individual mobile number.
  4. Details regarding state, district, and tehsil/block of domicile (applicable for JCO/OR enrolment application).
  5. Scanned passport size photo, within the size range of 10 Kb to 20 Kb and in .jpg format.
