Lt. Gen Syed Ata Hasnain (Retd.) Appointed Governor of Bihar

Lt. Gen Syed Ata Hasnain (Retd.) has been appointed as the Governor of Bihar, marking the transition of the distinguished former Army officer into a constitutional role in state governance.

Hasnain, a highly respected figure in the Indian Army, is known for his extensive experience in strategic military leadership, particularly in counter-insurgency and security operations in Jammu & Kashmir. During his military career, he served in several key command and staff appointments and earned recognition for his leadership and operational expertise.
