The Government of Madhya Pradesh has transferred 15 IAS officers across the state, assigning them to pivotal roles. The reshuffle reflects the government’s commitment to streamline governance and enhance efficiency in various departments.
Here are the details of the officers and their new designations:
IAS Bharat Yadav (2008) has been appointed as Secretary to the Chief Minister (CM), in addition to assuming the role of Commissioner, State Urban Administration and Development Department.
IAS Vinod Kumar (1989) will now serve as the Director General of the RCVP Naronha Academy of Administration, a prestigious institution dedicated to training and development of administrative personnel.
IAS Anirudh Mukerjee (1993) has been posted as Principal Secretary of Ayush (Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, and Homoeopathy), with an additional responsibility as the Principal Secretary of the Public Property Management Department and Managing Director of the MP State Property Management Company.
IAS Manish Rastogi (1994) assumes the role of Principal Secretary of the General Administration Department, along with an additional charge of Coordination at the Chief Secretary Office.
IAS Dr. Navneet Kothari (2001) has been appointed as the Secretary of the Fishermen Welfare and Fishery Development Department, highlighting the government’s focus on enhancing livelihood opportunities in the fishing sector.
IAS Ravindra Singh (2004) has been designated as the Commissioner cum Director of the Food and Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Department, with an added responsibility as the Managing Director of the Madhya Pradesh State Warehousing Corporation.
IAS Omprakash Shrivastava (2007) will now serve as the Secretary of the Home Department, coupled with an additional role as the Executive Director of the Disaster Management Institute, emphasizing the state’s preparedness for handling emergencies.
IAS Avinash Lavania (2009) has been appointed as the Additional Secretary to the Chief Minister, where he will play a crucial role in supporting the CM’s office in various administrative matters.
