MyGov Karnataka launched to promote participatory governance in state

MyGov Karnataka was launched on May 17, 2022. by Chief Minister Basavraj Bommai to have its own MyGov state instance.

Launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on July 26, 2014, MyGov is the largest and most successful citizen engagement program in the world. Citizens can now register on karnataka.mygov.in to share opinions, innovative ideas, and suggestions with the Government.

MyGov Karnataka will work as an idea crowdsourcing platform. It aims for active participation and engagement of citizens in governance as well as policy-making. Through MyGov Karnataka, the timely and authentic information about welfare schemes of the Government will be given to the people.

As Karnataka is a tech-savvy state, the state government expects its citizens to actively participate and engage with Government in huge numbers.  MyGov Karnataka has various ways to engage citizens with activities such as discussions, tasks, innovation challenges, polls, surveys, blogs, talks, quizzes, and on-ground activities.

The Karnataka government has urged its citizens to participate in this revolutionary platform and contribute to good governance.
