NEET PG 2024 Successfully Conducted Across 416 Centres Nationwide

The NEET PG 2024 examination was successfully conducted by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS), an autonomous body under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, today. The exam took place across 416 centres in 170 cities, organized in two shifts to utilize the best and most reputable centres.

A total of 2,28,540 candidates were issued admit cards, and efforts were made to assign examination centres within the candidates’ home states wherever possible.

To ensure the smooth conduct of the examination, NBEMS established a central command centre at its Dwarka Office in Delhi. Officials from the Union Health Ministry, the Governing Body of NBEMS, and the Executive Director of NBEMS, along with their teams, closely monitored the process. Additionally, over 1,950 independent appraisers and 300 flying squad members were deployed at the centres to oversee the examination. Eight regional command centres were also set up to supervise the nationwide event.

NBEMS also took steps to prevent misinformation by closely monitoring social media, ensuring that only authentic information was disseminated to stakeholders. The combination of heightened security measures and effective coordination among various agencies ensured a safe and smooth examination, upholding the integrity of NEET PG 2024.
