New Delhi: On Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi distributed over 70,000 appointment letters to new recruits during the National Rozgar Mela via Video Conferencing.
The National Rozgar Mela has become the new identity of the present government, PM Modi said while addressing the gathering.
Congratulating the new appointees, he said that this is a very significant moment for all as the new recruits now be able to contribute their skills and capabilities, by joining government services, and will be playing a crucial role towards making India a developed country in upcoming years.
The selected candidates will be joining the government in various departments including the Department of IT, Department of Posts, Department of School Education, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Defence, Department of Revenue, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Department of Atomic Energy, Ministry of Railways and Ministry of Home Affairs, among others.
He also spoke about the emerging employment opportunities in the country in the public as well as private sectors and appreciated the youth for self-employment opportunities. He also highlighted the initiatives like Mudra Scheme, Startup India, and Stand Up India are enhancing the capabilities of the country’s youth and they are becoming job creators.
He also expressed his happiness about the easy, transparent, and enhanced recruitment process for all. He added that they have reduced the recruitment cycle from 1-2 years to a few months.
While highlighting the world’s trust in India and its economy, the PM said, ‘The entire world is eager to partner with India in its growth journey.’
